Arinze Obiezue

Arinze is a researcher whose work across design, culture, and technology seeks to accelerate the creative development and entrepreneurial capabilities of young Africans. Through his work in venture, he also supports other founders and startups building innovative solutions in media, gaming, climate, and education.

At Kenga, he leads the company’s commercial, editorial, and operational strategy while spearheading all strategic initiatives and partnerships.

Prior to Kenga, Arinze became the managing editor of A Nasty Boy, Nigeria’s first LGBTQ+ publication, while working at Meta in London as a content designer for product features aimed at limiting the spread of sensitive content on Facebook and Instagram.

He joined Meta after graduating valedictorian of his class at the African Leadership University (ALU) in Mauritius with a first-class honours degree in Business Management, then left to pursue his master’s degree in Global Affairs with a focus on AI policy at Tsinghua University, where he was a Schwarzman Scholar and a China Oceanwide Fellow.

Arinze is a 2017 recipient of The Diana Award and was a 2021 judge for the prestigious youth social impact award created in honour of the Late Princess Diana. In 2020, he became the first African student from an African university to be offered admission to the competitive deferred MBA programs at both Harvard Business School and Stanford Graduate School of Business.
